The Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek is a challenging and thrilling trek in Nepal that takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Solu Khumbu and Rolwaling regions. The trek is not for the faint-hearted, as it involves crossing the Tashi Lapcha Pass, located at an altitude of 5,755 meters.The trek starts in Kathmandu and takes you through picturesque Sherpa villages, where you'll get to experience the unique culture and lifestyle of the local people.  Itinerary

  • DAY 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m) & Transfer to the Hotel

    Welcome to the exotic and vibrant city of Kathmandu! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you will have some time to rest and freshen up before meeting with your guide for a trip briefing. In the evening, you can explore the bustling streets of Kathmandu and enjoy a delicious Nepalese dinner.

  • DAY 2 - Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley and Trip Briefing

    Today we will explore the cultural and historical highlights of Kathmandu. We will visit UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. These landmarks will give you a glimpse into Nepal's rich cultural and religious heritage. In the evening, we will have a trip briefing where we will go over the itinerary and answer any questions you may have.

  • DAY 3 - Drive from Kathmandu to Gonggar Khola (1,440m)

    After breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Gonggar Khola, a small village located at an altitude of 1,440 meters. Along the way, we will pass through lush forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages. We will stay overnight in a guesthouse in Gonggar Khola, where we will enjoy a hearty dinner and rest for the night.

  • DAY 4 - Trek from Gonggar Khola to Simigaon (2,000m)

    We will start our trek today by following the trail that meanders through beautiful rhododendron forests and along the Bhotekoshi River. We will stop for lunch in a picturesque village called Dovan and continue our trek to Simigaon, a Sherpa village located at an altitude of 2,000 meters. Here we will stay in a teahouse and enjoy a warm dinner..

  • DAY 5 - Trek from Simigaon to Dongkang (3,010m)

    Today's trek takes us through stunning mountain landscapes and pastures dotted with yaks and sheep. We will cross the Tashi Lapsa river and ascend through forests of fir and rhododendron to reach the beautiful village of Dongkang at an altitude of 3,010 meters. We will stay overnight in a teahouse and enjoy a warm meal..

  • DAY 6 - Trek from Dongkang to Beding (3,693m)

    Today's trek is quite challenging as we climb steeply up the valley to reach Beding, a beautiful village located at an altitude of 3,693 meters. Along the way, we will pass through the summer pastures of yak herders and take in stunning views of the surrounding peaks. In Beding, we will stay in a cozy teahouse and enjoy a warm dinner.

  • DAY 7 - Trek from Beding to Na Gaon (4,200m)

    Today we will continue our ascent towards the Nangpa La Pass and reach Na Gaon, a small village located at an altitude of 4,200 meters. Along the way, we will pass through pristine forests and glacial valleys, taking in stunning views of the towering peaks that surround us. We will stay in a teahouse in Na Gaon and rest for the night.

  • DAY 8 - Acclimatization at Na (Rest Day)

    Today we will take a rest day to acclimatize to the high altitude. We can explore the village, visit the local monastery, or hike up to a nearby viewpoint for stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. We will have dinner and spend the night in our teahouse in Na.

  • DAY 9 - Trek from Na to Chugima (4,920m)

    oday's trek takes us to Chugima, a small village located at an altitude of 4,920 meters. The trail will take us through high-altitude landscapes and past pristine glacial lakes. We will cross the Tso Rolpa Lake, which is a stunning turquoise blue color, and reach Chugima, where we will stay in a teahouse and enjoy a warm dinner.

  • DAY 10 - Trek from Chugima to Jaboo Glacier

    Today we will trek to the Jaboo Glacier, where we will witness the awe-inspiring beauty of this natural wonder. The trail will take us through rocky terrain and past rugged mountains, and we will take in the stunning views of the surrounding peaks. We will stay in a tented campsite near the Jaboo Glacier and enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars.

  • DAY 11 - Trek from Jaboo Glacier to Tashi Phuk (5,110m) crossing Tashi Lapcha (5,755m)

    Today's trek is the most challenging part of our journey as we cross the high-altitude Tashi Lapcha Pass at an altitude of 5,755 meters. The trail will take us through rocky terrain, and we will need to use ropes and crampons to cross the glacier safely. However, the stunning views from the top of the pass will make it all worthwhile. We will then descend to Tashi Phuk, a small village located at an altitude of 5,110 meters, where we will stay in a teahouse and enjoy a warm dinner.

  • DAY 12 - Trek from Tashi Phuk to Thengbo (4,230m)

    Today we will descend to Thengbo, a small village located at an altitude of 4,230 meters. Along the way, we will pass through rocky terrain and take in stunning views of the surrounding peaks. We will stay in a teahouse in Thengbo and enjoy a warm dinner.

  • DAY 13 - Trek from Thengba to Thame (3,800m)

    Today's trek takes us to the picturesque village of Thame, located at an altitude of 3,800 meters. We will pass through beautiful landscapes and forests of rhododendron and juniper trees. Thame is a historic village and is known for its beautiful monastery and stunning views of the surrounding peaks. We will stay in a teahouse in Thame and enjoy a warm dinner.

  • DAY 14 - Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar (3,750m)

    Today we will descend to Namche Bazaar, a bustling town located at an altitude of 3,750 meters. Along the way, we will pass through beautiful forests and traditional villages. Namche Bazaar is a popular stopover for trekkers and is known for its colorful markets and stunning views of Mount Everest. We will stay in a teahouse in Namche Bazaar and enjoy a warm dinner.

  • DAY 15 - Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860m)

    Today we will descend to Lukla, where we will catch a flight back to Kathmandu. Along the way, we will pass through beautiful landscapes and traditional villages. In Lukla, we will say goodbye to our porters and trekking staff and catch our flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will transfer to our hotel and enjoy a warm dinner.

  • DAY 16 - Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu & Transfer to the Hotel

    Today we will catch our flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to our hotel. We will have some time to rest and freshen up before exploring the city or doing some last-minute souvenir shopping. In the evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner together and reflect on our incredible journey.

  • DAY 17 - Transfer to International Airport for final departure

    Today marks the end of our journey together. After breakfast, we will transfer to the international airport for our final departure. We hope you have had a fantastic time and look forward to seeing you again soon for another adventure in the Himalayas.

   ACCOMMODATION IN KATHMANDU : sharing a twin bedroom at the hotel (3 Star category) in Kathmandu on a bed & breakfast basis

  NEPAL VISA FEES : Nepali Visa fee is US$ 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD$ 120).

  LUNCH & DINNER : Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of early return from Trekking than the scheduled itinerary).

  EXTRA NIGHTS IN KATHMANDU : Extra nights’ accommodation in Kathmandu. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.

  INSURANCE : Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.

  RESCUE EVACUATION : Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation cost if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.)

  PERSONAL EXPENSES: Telephone calls, Internet, Toiletries, battery recharge, hot shower, laundry, soft drinks, beer, and any alcoholic beverages.
