Itinerary
DAY 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m) & Transfer to the Hotel
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and escort you to the hotel in the bustling city of Kathmandu. You can take some rest or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, the tourist hub of Kathmandu.
DAY 2 - Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,460m)
After breakfast, we take a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, which is located in the Langtang Valley. The journey is about 6-7 hours, passing through the lush hills, terraced fields, and rustic villages. We cross the Trishuli River and follow the winding road that leads to the town of Syabrubesi .
DAY 3 - Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,470m)
We start our trek by crossing the Bhote Koshi River and follow the Langtang River upstream. The trail gradually ascends through the lush forest, rhododendron bushes, and bamboo groves. We pass by the small settlements of Bamboo and Rimche before reaching Lama Hotel, where we will spend the night
DAY 4 - Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m)
Today's trail is mostly uphill, passing through the dense forest of oak and maple trees. We cross several streams and waterfalls before reaching Ghoda Tabela, which is a horse stable. The trail then ascends through the alpine meadow and yak pastures before reaching Langtang Village, where we will stay for the night.
DAY 5 - Trek from Langtang to Kyangjing Gompa (3,750m)
The trail today takes us through the yak pastures and glacial moraines, offering spectacular views of the Langtang Lirung (7,234m) and its surrounding peaks. We pass by several mani walls and chortens before reaching Kyangjing Gompa, which is a beautiful monastery nestled in the heart of the valley.
DAY 6 - Acclimatization in Kyangjing Gumba (Rest Day)
Today is a rest day, and we will explore the nearby areas of Kyangjing Gompa. We can visit the cheese factory, which produces fresh yak cheese, or hike to the Tserko Ri (5,033m) for a panoramic view of the Langtang Valley. We can also interact with the locals and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
DAY 7 - Trek from Kyangjing Gumba to Yala Peak Basecamp (4,800m)
Today, we start our climb to the Yala Peak Basecamp, which is located at an altitude of 4,800m. The trail is steep and challenging, passing through the rocky terrain and moraines. We cross the Langtang Khola and follow the trail that leads to the Basecamp, where we will set up our campsite for the night.
DAY 8 - Climbing day [ Basecamp - Summit (5,732m) and return to Kyangjing Gumba
Today is the most challenging day of our trek as we summit the Yala Peak (5,732m). We wake up early in the morning and start our climb, following the trail that leads to the summit. The climb is steep and requires technical skills, but the panoramic view from the top is worth the effort. We spend some time at the summit and then return to the Basecamp before descending to Kyangjing Gompa for the night.
DAY 9 - Trek from Kyangjing Gumba to Lama Hotel
We retrace our steps and follow the same trail that leads us back to Lama Hotel. The trail descends gradually, passing through the lush forest of rhododendron and oak trees. We cross several suspension bridges and streams before reaching Lama Hotel, where we will spend the night.
DAY 10 - Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1,460m)
Today is the last day of our trek as we descend back to Syabrubesi. The trail is mostly downhill, passing through the terraced fields and rural settlements. We cross the Bhote Koshi River and follow the trail that leads to Syabrubesi, where we will stay for the night.
DAY 11 - Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu & Transfer to the Hotel
We take an early morning drive back to Kathmandu, which takes about 6-7 hours. We pass through the scenic countryside and lush hills before reaching the city of Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we check-in at the hotel and take some rest before heading out for a farewell dinner.
DAY 12 -Sight Seeing Around Kathmandu Valley
Today, we explore the historical and cultural landmarks of Kathmandu Valley. We visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. We also have some free time to shop for souvenirs or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.
DAY 13 - Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure
Today is the last day of our trip, and we transfer you to the airport for your final departure. We bid farewell to each other, hoping to see you soon on another adventure in the Himalayas.

ACCOMMODATION IN KATHMANDU : sharing a twin bedroom at the hotel (3 Star category) in Kathmandu on a bed & breakfast basis
AIRPORT PICK-UP & DROP : Airport - Hotel transfer – Airport (Pick Up and Drop).
WELCOME DINNER : One Welcome Dinner in a tourist standard restaurant in Kathmandu with Office’s Staff.
Permits : All necessary paper works: Trekking Permit including MCAP and special permit, TIMS Card & conservation entry fee

DRINKS : 2 liters of boiled water to carry on thermos per day per member.
Guide : Government licensed Guide (English speaking) during the trek and sight-seeing in Kathmandu valley.
PORTER : Porters (2 trekkers: 1 porter) during the trek.
STAFF SALARY & ALLOWANCE : All Nepalese staff & porter’s daily wages, salary, equipment, food & clothing.
MEDICAL KIT : Comprehensive Medical kit.
Meals on treks only: Breakfast, Lunch , Dinner.
What's Not Included
NEPAL VISA FEES : Nepali Visa fee is US$ 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD$ 120).
LUNCH & DINNER : Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of early return from Trekking than the scheduled itinerary).
EXTRA NIGHTS IN KATHMANDU : Extra nights’ accommodation in Kathmandu. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
INSURANCE : Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
RESCUE EVACUATION : Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation cost if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.)
PERSONAL EXPENSES: Telephone calls, Internet, Toiletries, battery recharge, hot shower, laundry, soft drinks, beer, and any alcoholic beverages.
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT : Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking Gears, etc.
TOILETRIES : Soaps, shampoos, toilet and tissue papers, toothpaste, and other items used to keep yourself clean.
FILMING : Special Filming, Camera, and Drone permit fee.
INTERNET SERVICE : Internet facility during the trek is not included.
EXTRA PORTER : $35 USD for an extra porter per day (If an extra porter is demanded).

Yes, we offer secure luggage storage at our office in Kathmandu. You can leave behind non-essential items and pick them up once you return from your trek.

Our guides carry communication devices and have contacts with local agencies to ensure swift action during emergencies. In extreme cases, helicopter evacuations can be arranged, given that the trekker has suitable insurance coverage.
