The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek is a challenging yet rewarding Himalayan adventure designed for trekkers seeking a complete Annapurna experience beyond the classic circuit. The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the lower Annapurna region and follows the beautiful Marsyangdi River valley through charming villages such as Dharapani, Chame, Pisang, and Manang.
As the trail gradually gains altitude, trekkers experience breathtaking views of iconic peaks including Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. A dedicated acclimatization day in Manang helps prepare for higher elevations while exploring the unique Himalayan culture and landscapes.
The trek then diverts toward the remote and magnificent Tilicho Lake, offering an unforgettable high-altitude experience surrounded by rugged mountains. After returning to the main Annapurna Circuit trail, the route continues toward Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, and Thorong La Pass (5,416m) before descending to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath.
