Overview
hulu West Peak is one of the most rewarding climbing objectives in Nepal’s Annapurna region. The adventure begins in Kathmandu before following the classic Annapurna Circuit through Besisahar, Chame, Pisang, and the culturally rich village of Manang. Along the journey, trekkers gradually acclimatize while experiencing diverse landscapes ranging from subtropical valleys to high-altitude alpine terrain.
After adequate acclimatization in Manang, the route leaves the main trekking trail and heads toward Chulu West Base Camp and High Camp. Here, experienced climbing guides provide training on using essential mountaineering equipment, including crampons, harnesses, ropes, helmets, and ice axes. Summit day starts before dawn, crossing glaciers and snow slopes before reaching the breathtaking summit at 6,419 meters.
