Chulu Far East Peak Climbing

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can rest and prepare for the Chulu Far East Peak Climbing adventure. A short trip briefing will be provided by your climbing guide.

Today, we complete the necessary permit arrangements and official preparations for the Chulu Far East Peak Climbing trip. Your climbing guide will provide a detailed briefing about the itinerary, safety, equipment, and climbing techniques. You will also have time for final shopping and gear checks.

After breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, the gateway of the Annapurna region. The scenic journey follows the Prithvi Highway, passing through beautiful countryside, rivers, hills, and local villages. Upon arrival in Besisahar, we check into the lodge and prepare for the trek.

After breakfast, we take a scenic drive from Besisahar to Chame, the headquarters of Manang District. The route follows the Marsyangdi River through beautiful waterfalls, forests, and mountain landscapes. Upon reaching Chame, we check into the lodge and enjoy views of the surrounding Himalayas.

After breakfast, we begin trekking from Chame to Pisang through beautiful pine forests and the scenic Marsyangdi Valley. The trail offers stunning views of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Pisang Peak as we pass through traditional villages and rocky landscapes.

Today, we trek from Pisang to Ngawal through the upper route of the Annapurna Circuit. The trail offers spectacular views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak while passing through ancient villages and beautiful Himalayan landscapes. Ngawal is a traditional Manangi village with rich Tibetan culture.

After breakfast, we trek from Ngawal to Yak Kharka through high alpine landscapes. The trail passes through beautiful valleys and yak grazing areas, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. This day helps with further acclimatization before heading toward the Chulu Far East Base Camp.

Today, we leave Yak Kharka and trek toward Chulu Far East Base Camp through rugged alpine terrain. The trail gradually climbs above the tree line, offering magnificent views of the Annapurna range and surrounding peaks. Upon reaching the base camp, we prepare for the climbing phase and enjoy the mountain atmosphere.

Today is dedicated to climbing preparation and acclimatization at Chulu Far East Base Camp. Our climbing guide will provide training on using mountaineering equipment, including crampons, ice axe, ropes, and climbing techniques. We also make final preparations for the summit attempt.

Today, we ascend from Chulu Far East Base Camp to High Camp through rocky and snowy terrain. The climb becomes more challenging as we gain altitude, but the spectacular Himalayan views make the journey rewarding. After reaching High Camp, we prepare for the summit push and rest for the early morning climb.

Today is the most exciting day of the expedition as we make an early morning summit attempt on Chulu Far East Peak (6,059m). The climb involves glacier walking, snow slopes, and technical sections using proper mountaineering equipment. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Himalayan ranges before descending back to the Base Camp.

After the successful summit, we descend from Chulu Far East Base Camp to Manang through beautiful alpine landscapes. The trail offers stunning views of the Annapurna range, Gangapurna, and the Marsyangdi Valley. Upon reaching Manang, we relax and enjoy the comfort of the village.

After breakfast, we trek from Manang to Yak Kharka through scenic high-altitude landscapes. The trail gradually climbs through alpine meadows, yak grazing areas, and beautiful mountain terrain with stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

Today, we trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi, the base camp for crossing the famous Thorong La Pass. The trail passes through rugged mountain terrain, narrow paths, and dramatic Himalayan landscapes. Upon arrival at Thorong Phedi, we rest and prepare for the challenging pass crossing the next day.

Today is one of the most challenging and rewarding days of the trek as we cross the famous Thorong La Pass (5,416m). Starting early in the morning, we ascend through high mountain terrain and enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After crossing the pass, we descend to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath.

After breakfast, we trek from Muktinath to Jomsom through the beautiful Mustang region. The trail descends through the Kali Gandaki Valley, passing traditional villages and dry Himalayan landscapes with stunning views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna peaks. Upon arrival in Jomsom, we relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain town.

After breakfast, we take a scenic mountain flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. The flight offers spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges along the Kali Gandaki Valley. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we transfer to the hotel and enjoy a relaxing day by the beautiful lakeside city.

After breakfast, we take a scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Kathmandu’s cultural attractions, shopping areas, or relaxing after the Himalayan adventure.

Today marks the end of your Chulu Far East Peak Climbing adventure. According to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas.
