Day 01 :

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,590ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, attend a pre-expedition briefing where you'll meet your climbing guide, review the itinerary, and complete a final equipment check. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 :

Kathmandu – Expedition Preparation and Briefing

Today is dedicated to final preparations for your Himlung Expedition. Attend an official expedition briefing, complete permit formalities, and carefully check your climbing gear with your guide. You may purchase or rent any remaining equipment if needed. The rest of the day is free to explore Kathmandu or relax before the adventure begins. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03 :

Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m / 2,493ft)

After an early breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, the gateway to the Annapurna region. The scenic journey follows winding highways alongside rivers, passing terraced hillsides, traditional villages, and lush countryside. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and relax, preparing for the trek ahead. Overnight in Besisahar.

Day 04 :

Drive from Besisahar to Koto (2,600m / 8,530ft)

After breakfast, continue the journey by jeep from Besisahar to Koto, following the rugged mountain road through the Marsyangdi Valley. Pass charming villages such as Chame and enjoy spectacular views of waterfalls, forests, and towering Himalayan peaks. Upon reaching Koto, the gateway to the remote Nar-Phu Valley, settle into your lodge for the night and prepare for the trek ahead. Overnight in Koto.

Day 05 :

Trek from Koto to Meta (3,560m / 11,680ft)

After breakfast, begin trekking into the remote Nar-Phu Valley, following a forested trail alongside the Nar Khola. Cross several suspension bridges and pass through narrow gorges, waterfalls, and pine forests before climbing steadily to the open pastures of Meta. Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and spend the night at a local teahouse in Meta.

Day 06 :

Trek from Meta to Kyang (3,840m / 12,600ft)

Today's trek continues through the spectacular Nar-Phu Valley, passing ancient chortens, prayer flags, and traditional Tibetan-style settlements. The trail gradually ascends across rugged landscapes with magnificent views of snow-capped peaks before reaching the small settlement of Kyang. Enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings as you acclimatize to the increasing altitude. Overnight at a teahouse in Kyang.

Day 07 :

Trek from Kyang to Phu Gaon (3,900m / 12,795ft)

After breakfast, continue trekking deeper into the remote Nar-Phu Valley toward the ancient village of Phu Gaon. The trail passes dramatic canyons, colorful prayer walls, and centuries-old monasteries while offering stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival, explore the unique Tibetan-influenced village and immerse yourself in its rich culture and traditions. Overnight at a teahouse in Phu Gaon.

Day 08 :

Trek from Phu Gaon to Himlung Base Camp (4,900m / 16,075ft)

Leave Phu Gaon behind and ascend gradually toward Himlung Base Camp, following alpine trails through yak pastures and glacial terrain. As the landscape becomes more rugged, enjoy breathtaking views of Himlung Himal and the surrounding snow-covered peaks. Upon reaching Base Camp, settle into the expedition camp, meet the climbing team, and prepare for the days of acclimatization and climbing ahead. Overnight at Himlung Base Camp.

Day 09 :

Day 21: Himlung Himal (7,126m / 23,380ft) Climbing and Summit Period

Over the next several days, follow a carefully planned climbing schedule that includes acclimatization rotations between Base Camp, Camp I, Camp II, and Camp III. During this period, your guides will provide refresher training on glacier travel, fixed-rope techniques, and high-altitude safety while monitoring weather conditions for the best summit window. Once conditions are favorable, begin the final summit push to the top of Himlung Himal (7,126m), where breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Manaslu, Kang Guru, and the Tibetan Plateau await. After celebrating your achievement, descend safely back to Base Camp for rest and recovery. Overnight in expedition camps and Base Camp throughout the climbing period.

Day 22 :

Trek from Himlung Base Camp to Phu Gaon (3,900m / 12,795ft)

After packing up Base Camp, begin the descent back to Phu Gaon, retracing your route through alpine meadows and rugged mountain terrain. As you lose altitude, enjoy the changing landscapes and take time to reflect on your successful Himlung Expedition. Upon arrival, relax at a local teahouse and celebrate the completion of your climbing adventure. Overnight in Phu Gaon.

Day 23 :

Trek from Phu Gaon to Meta (3,560m / 11,680ft)

After breakfast, continue descending through the beautiful Nar-Phu Valley toward Meta. The trail passes ancient monasteries, prayer walls, and dramatic gorges, offering one last opportunity to enjoy the region's unique Tibetan culture and stunning Himalayan scenery. Upon reaching Meta, relax at your teahouse and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 24 :

Trek from Meta to Koto (2,600m / 8,530ft)

Today's trek descends through forests, narrow canyons, and suspension bridges as you leave the remote Nar-Phu Valley behind. Following the Nar Khola, the trail gradually returns to Koto, where you'll reunite with the Annapurna Circuit route. Upon arrival, relax and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at a local teahouse in Koto.

Day 25 :

Drive from Koto to Besisahar (760m / 2,493ft) and Continue to Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,590ft)

After breakfast, drive from Koto to Besisahar along the scenic mountain road before continuing to Kathmandu. Enjoy views of rivers, waterfalls, terraced hills, and traditional villages as you return to the capital. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest after completing your Himalayan expedition. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 26 :

Depart from Kathmandu

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey. Leave Nepal with unforgettable memories of your successful Himlung Expedition, breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, and warm mountain hospitality. We wish you a safe journey and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Nepal.
