Day 01 :

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your journey or explore the lively streets of Thamel, the city’s popular tourist hub filled with shops, cafés, and local markets.

In the evening, you’ll attend a short briefing about the upcoming Everest Expedition via the South Col Route, where you’ll meet your expedition leader and team members. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 :

Preparation and Expedition Briefing at the Department of Tourism

Today is dedicated to preparation and official briefings for your Everest Expedition South Col Route. After breakfast, you’ll visit the Department of Tourism in Kathmandu to attend a mandatory expedition briefing and complete necessary permit and documentation procedures.

Your expedition leader will also conduct a detailed orientation covering the climbing route, safety measures, equipment checks, and acclimatization plans. The rest of the day can be spent purchasing or renting any last-minute gear and preparing your equipment for the journey ahead.

Day 03 :

Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m) and Trek to Phakding (2,650m)

After an early breakfast, you’ll take a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. The short yet thrilling flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas, including glimpses of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.

Upon landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, you’ll meet your Sherpa crew and begin your first trek toward Phakding (2,650m). The trail descends gradually through beautiful pine forests, across suspension bridges, and past traditional Sherpa villages with stunning views of the Dudh Koshi River valley.

The trek takes around 3–4 hours, providing an easy and pleasant start to your expedition. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Phakding.

Day 04 :

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Today’s trek takes you from Phakding to the famous Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar (3,440m), the bustling heart of the Khumbu region. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges decorated with colorful prayer flags, including the famous Hillary Bridge.

As you ascend gradually, you’ll pass through charming villages like Monjo and enter the Sagarmatha National Park, where your trekking permits will be checked. The final stretch is a steep climb through pine forests, offering the first breathtaking glimpse of Mount Everest peeking above the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge.

Day 05 :

Rest Day at Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization (3,440m)

Today is an important rest and acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. Instead of complete rest, you’ll take a short acclimatization hike to higher elevations and return to sleep at Namche, following the principle of “climb high, sleep low.”
A popular short hike is to the Everest View Hotel (3,880m), which offers stunning panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kongde Ri. On the way, you can visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Sagarmatha National Park Visitor Center to learn about the region’s history and mountaineering heritage.
In the afternoon, explore the lively streets of Namche Bazaar, enjoy local bakeries, and interact with Sherpa locals. This rest day significantly boosts your chances of successful acclimatization for the higher climbs ahead.

Day 06 :

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,850m)

After breakfast, begin your scenic trek from Namche Bazaar toward Tengboche, one of the most spiritual and picturesque villages in the Khumbu region. The trail offers breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam, with pine and rhododendron forests lining the way.

You’ll first descend to the Dudh Koshi River, cross a suspension bridge, and then climb steadily uphill through peaceful forest trails. Upon reaching Tengboche, you’ll be greeted by the iconic Tengboche Monastery, the largest and most important monastery in the Everest region.

Here, trekkers often participate in the evening prayer ceremony, surrounded by serene mountain views and chanting monks. This spiritual experience amidst the backdrop of Ama Dablam’s towering peak is truly unforgettable.

Day 07 :

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350m)

After a peaceful morning at Tengboche Monastery, the trail descends through lush rhododendron and birch forests toward Debuche, offering magnificent views of Ama Dablam. You’ll cross a suspension bridge over the Imja Khola River and gradually ascend to Pangboche Village, one of the oldest Sherpa settlements in the region.

Continuing your journey, the landscape begins to change — trees become sparse, and the air thinner as you enter the alpine zone. The path then climbs toward Dingboche, a beautiful village surrounded by fields enclosed by stone walls built to protect crops from strong winds and grazing animals.

Dingboche serves as the gateway to Ama Dablam Base Camp and Island Peak, as well as a key acclimatization stop for trekkers heading to Everest Base Camp. From here, you can enjoy awe-inspiring panoramic views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam.

Day 08 :

Acclimatization in Dingboche (4,350m)

Today is a rest and acclimatization day in Dingboche to help your body adjust to the higher altitude before continuing the journey toward Everest Base Camp. Although it’s a rest day, light activity is encouraged to aid acclimatization.

After breakfast, you can take a short hike to Nagarjun Hill (≈5,100m) or Chhukung Valley, both of which offer breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Makalu, Lhotse, and Island Peak. The gradual climb provides excellent conditioning and allows you to enjoy the dramatic high-Himalayan scenery.

In the afternoon, you’ll return to Dingboche for lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing, exploring the village, or chatting with fellow trekkers. The area’s traditional stone walls, barley fields, and yak pastures showcase the authentic lifestyle of the Sherpa people.

This day is essential for preventing altitude sickness and preparing for the higher elevations ahead.

Day 09 :

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,960m)

After breakfast in Dingboche, the trail ascends gradually through alpine meadows and rugged terrain toward Lobuche. The journey begins with a gentle climb to Dughla (4,620m), where you’ll stop for a short rest and lunch. From here, the trail becomes steeper as you ascend the Khumbu Glacier moraine, passing through memorials built in honor of climbers who lost their lives on Everest.

As you continue trekking, the surrounding scenery becomes increasingly dramatic with panoramic views of Taboche, Cholatse, Pumori, and Nuptse. The air grows thinner, and the landscape more barren, signaling your entry into the high Himalayas.

After a 5–6 hour trek, you’ll reach Lobuche, a small settlement nestled below the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. The evening is spent resting and hydrating, preparing for the challenging day ahead toward Everest Base Camp.

Day 10 :

Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,170m)

Today’s trek takes you closer to the heart of the Everest region — Gorakshep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. The journey begins with a gradual climb along the side of the Khumbu Glacier, following a rocky and uneven trail surrounded by breathtaking views of Mount Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Nuptse.

After a few hours of steady trekking, you’ll reach Gorakshep (5,170m), a small, windswept village located on a sandy flat beside a frozen lakebed. This historic place once served as the original base camp for early Everest expeditions in the 1950s.

Upon arrival, you’ll settle into your teahouse for a short rest and lunch. In the afternoon, you may explore the nearby glacier area or prepare for the next day’s hike to Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar.

The air is thin and cold at this altitude, so it’s important to move slowly, stay hydrated, and avoid overexertion.

Day 11 :

Morning Hike to Kala Patthar (5,554m) for Acclimatization

Early in the morning, you’ll set out for a hike to Kala Patthar (5,554m) — one of the most famous viewpoints in the Everest region. This short yet steep climb rewards you with the most breathtaking panoramic view of Mount Everest, along with Nuptse, Pumori, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam shining in the morning light.

The trail ascends gradually over rocky terrain, and though the altitude makes each step challenging, the sunrise over the Himalayas makes every effort worthwhile. Reaching the summit of Kala Patthar offers an up-close perspective of Everest’s summit—a truly unforgettable moment for every trekker and climber.

After enjoying some time for photos and rest, you’ll descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast and relaxation. The rest of the day can be spent resting or preparing for the next phase of your Everest Expedition.

Day 12 :

Climbing Period – Summit Mount Everest (8,848.86m)

Today marks the most challenging and extraordinary day of your entire Everest Expedition — the summit push to the top of the world at 8,848.86 meters. Starting from the South Col (Camp IV), the climb begins before midnight to take advantage of calm morning conditions. Equipped with full climbing gear, oxygen support, and guided by experienced Sherpas, you will ascend through steep ice slopes, the Balcony, and the South Summit before tackling the famous Hillary Step — the final obstacle before the true summit.

Reaching the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, is an indescribable achievement. Standing above the clouds, surrounded by the vast Himalayan panorama, you’ll witness the 360° view of peaks like Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Nuptse, basking in the golden sunrise.

After spending a short time at the top, you’ll begin your careful descent back to the South Col for rest and safety.

Day 13 :

58: Preparation for Return

From day 13th to day 56th, we have our Mount Everest climbing period. During this period, we will acclimatize, do acclimatizing rotations, and get used to the surroundings. The team leader will provide us with pre-climbing training. We will navigate Khumbu Icefall a few times for rotations and climb up to Camp II. Gradually, we will make further camps and wait for the summit window. After the Everest summit, we will retrace the path back to the base camp.

At the Everest base camp, we will have all the facilities, from WiFi, medical staff, hot showers, etc. While we spend time at the base camp, all the meals are prepared and cooked by our supporting staff. We only have to focus on resting and preparing for the summit push. During the acclimatisation rotations, the guide and supporting crew will be there with you.

After the successful summit and descent, today is dedicated to rest, recovery, and packing at the Everest Base Camp. Climbers will check and organize their personal gear, dismantle climbing equipment, and prepare loads for the return journey. The Sherpa team will also assist in cleaning the base camp area, ensuring the mountain environment remains pristine.

This day allows the team to celebrate the successful expedition, share experiences, and express gratitude to the guides and support staff who made the climb possible.

Day 14 :

59: Trek from Dingboche to Tengboche (3,860m)

After breakfast, you’ll begin your descent from Dingboche following a scenic trail that offers magnificent views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest. The path gradually descends through alpine valleys and rhododendron forests, passing small settlements and chortens along the way.

Upon reaching Tengboche, you’ll visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, one of the most significant spiritual centers in the Khumbu region. This peaceful stop offers a chance to reflect on your Everest experience while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

Day 15 :

60: Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Today’s journey takes you from the serene Tengboche Monastery back to the vibrant mountain town of Namche Bazaar. The trail descends through lush forests filled with rhododendrons, junipers, and pine, crossing the Dudh Koshi River before a gradual uphill climb brings you back to Namche.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy the final majestic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, while passing through charming Sherpa villages and prayer flags fluttering in the wind.

Arriving in Namche Bazaar, you can relax, explore local shops and bakeries, or enjoy a warm meal after days in the higher altitude.

61: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840m)

Today marks your final trekking day in the Everest region. The trail descends steeply from Namche Bazaar, winding through dense pine forests, crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, and passing several small Sherpa villages like Monjo and Phakding.

As you retrace your steps, you’ll have time to reflect on your incredible Everest Expedition journey and celebrate your achievements with your trekking companions and guides.

Reaching Lukla, you’ll settle into a lodge for the night, enjoying your last evening in the Himalayas.

Day 17 :

62: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,350m)

After an early breakfast, you’ll take a scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, enjoying the last aerial views of the stunning Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu.

The rest of the day is free for rest, shopping, or exploring the city’s cultural attractions, cafes, and local markets. It’s a perfect time to relax and reflect on your successful Everest Expedition.

Day 18 :

63: Leisure Day & Shopping in Kathmandu

Today is a well-deserved leisure day in Kathmandu after your remarkable Everest Expedition. You can relax at your hotel or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, known for its lively atmosphere, souvenir shops, and traditional handicrafts.

This is the perfect time to shop for trekking memorabilia, visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, or Kathmandu Durbar Square, and enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine at local restaurants.

In the evening, you can celebrate your expedition’s success with your team over a farewell dinner.

64: Leisure Day & Shopping in Kathmandu

Another relaxing day in Kathmandu, giving you extra time to unwind and explore more of Nepal’s cultural beauty. You can stroll through Ason Bazaar for local spices and crafts, revisit Thamel for souvenirs, or simply relax at a peaceful garden café.

If you wish, you may also take short optional tours around the Kathmandu Valley, including Patan Durbar Square or Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple).

This day allows you to fully enjoy your post-expedition time before returning home.

65- Transfer to the airport for final departure
